This project features a demolition and redesign of three spaces in an existing single family home. The design includes a modern transitional style of furniture, finishes and fixtures that support an elevated family lifestyle. Playful modern lighting adds a stylistic element that draws the eye upward, and custom millwork ground the space with a sense of permanence. This home renovation creates a space that fits the client needs in their current everyday and elevates their home interior.

Adaptive Reuse

This Adpative reuse utilizing shipping containers provides temporary housing for displaced families following the Austrailian wildfires. An efficient floorplan and structure allows for fast track building and a simplistic interior allows for customization and flexibility. The home is designed for blended or multi-member families to create a space of safe, stability, and restfulness in a time of tragedy.

Community Focused Design:

As part of the local disaster

relief initiative following the most recent wildfires, this home serves as a temporary housing solution for one of the many families displaced from their homes as a result of wildfires.

This condominium exists to reimagine graduate student housing by creating a bright, affordable, and warm space that feels like home. An effective floorplan prototype for a larger complex allows for reproduction of the space in various units. A well-planned space in a condensed floorplan allows for multiple tenants, cutting cost of living and increasing community in a time of change and transition.

Soft colors create a calming and welcoming environment. Built-in desks elevate the space and provide ample storage. Engineered wood flooring is used throughout and insulated window coverings provide privacy, increase energy savings, and provide temperature control.
